Bechem United are celebrating their first hat-trick wins in the First Capital Premier League.

The Pride of Ahafo beat Liberty Professionals 1-0 at home on Wednesday to make it three wins in a row.

It is the first for the club who are playing in their second season in the top-flight after suffering demotion on their debuts two seasons ago.

Bechem had won 2-0 and 0-2 in the opening two fixtures of the second round of the league against King Faisal at home and AshantiGold at the Len Clay.

Winning three straight games didn’t happen the first time the club first got prompted two seasons ago and it only happened in the second round of the 2013/14 season.

A club statement issued and signed by Chief Executive Kingsley Osei-Bonsu, thanked the players for the ‘‘history-making feat’’ and urged for more commitment to booster the club’s top-4 ambitions.

Bechem United have now accumulated 27 points to climb to third on the league log after seven wins, six draws, five defeats.

They have scored 18 goals and conceded 16 goals after 18 rounds of matches.
