Bechem Unitedââ¬â¢s in-form midfielder Noah Martey has attributed his surge in form to a recent Ghana U20 call-up.
Martey has scored in the last three matches of the First Capital Plus Premier League.
The 20-year-old scored a trademark long-range goal to earn Bechem United a vital 1-0 home win over Liberty Professionals on Wednesday.
ââ¬ÅThough I played very well in the first round of the league and received positive reviews, I never scored a goal. That changed when coach Sellas Tetteh gave me opportunity to be part of the Black Satellites,ââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬â¢ Noah told GHANASoccernet.com
ââ¬ÅHe (Sellas) made me feel special and loved so naturally grew in confidence. The greatest honour for any player is the opportunity to play for country.ââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬â¢
Martey has three goals to his credit and five assists as Bechem United lie third on the league table.
