Chief Executive officer of Bechem United, Kingsley Osei Bonsu has denied claims by Tema Youth that they were robbed in Bechem during an outstanding Ghana Premier League match played on Wednesday.

Tema Youth president, Osei Palmer, revealed that burglars broke into the dressing room and made away with their belongings while in action against Bechem United.

But Osei Bonsu has described the claims as false “From what they’re saying it’s hard to believe. The dressing room was locked. When you follow how events unfolded well you’ll find out is a mere fabrication” Mr Bonsu told Kumasi based Bohye FM.

“Initially one of their players said his phone and boot are missing, they later said it was five phones which are missing but when we told them to go to the police and file an official complaint they were reluctant” He added.

This is not the first time an away team has complained of missing items at the dressing room of the Bechem Park.

Ashantigold SC was the last team to have complained of such experience.
