Bechem United plan Saudi Arabia trip

Bechem United have announced plans to travel to Saudi Arabia to intensify their preparations for the 2015/16 season.

The Ghana Premier League club has been invited to participate in a friendly tournament in the Gulf state.

Chief Executive Officer of Bechem United Kingsley Osei Bonsu says the club plans to even secure other friendly matches while in Saudi Arabia.

“There is a tournament we’ve been invited to participate in Saudi Arabia,” he revealed to Peace FM.

“But we want to use the opportunity to play other friendly matches.

“We are preparing and secure all travel documents and will hopefully leave Ghana next week.”

Bechem United want to take advantage of the delayed start of the Ghanaian top flight to secure such international matches to give their players the needed exposure while also securing partnership agreements with clubs abroad.
