Asked by UOL Esporte about Brazilian international winger/forward Gabigol's course at Benfica, his agent, Wagner Ribeiro, stated: "He's benefitting from being there. He's happy now, and that's more important than anything else. However, if they want all his potential to get real, he should be lined up regularly, not every third or fourth other game. We had a lot of options for him last summer, but we ended up choosing Benfica because they are a top club in Portugal, and they play Champions League. Him staying put or not? It depends on how things are turning out from now on". 21-year old former Santos star is still on a deal with Inter Milan until June 2021.
