Berekum Chelsea coach Solomon Odwo insists he’s not worried by the departure of several key players ahead of the start of the new season.

The former Premier League champions have seen three key players – Richard Osei Agyemang, Samuel Kyere and Bennett Ofori left for Kotoko while top striker Kofi Owusu is believed to be on his way out.

There are growing concerns about the departure of several key players amid fears it will affect their chances in the upcoming season.

But coach Solomon Odwo insists it will not affect his team.

‘I don’t think it too much of a bother. Players come and go and so it’s normal for me,’ he said

‘We should press the panic button. There are equally good players who can step up.

‘We are preparing without them and so far it’s been great.’

Chelsea finished fourth-last season behind Aduana Stars, Kotoko and eventual winners Ashantigold.
