Berekum Chelsea coach set sights on Champions League tie

Berekum Chelsea coach Hans Van Der Plyum is looking to inflict more misery on LISCR FC in the return leg of the Caf Champions League.

The Dutch trainer led Chelsea to a much needed win over All Stars in the Premier League on Wednesday and has now turn sights on the weekend’s clash with the Liberian side despite holding a healthy 2-0 lead in the tie.

The Blues boss however insists support will be key in the making of what is expected to be a confortable win at Berekum.

“The most important thing is we continue to make our fans happy,” he said.

“We beat them away so we should be able to finish off the job in Berekum.

“I hope the fans come in their number to support the team to victory on Sunday because it is really needed.”

Chelsea is Ghana’s sole representative this season in African club competition following the withdrawal of Nania FC from the Confederations Cup due to inadequate funds.
