Berekum Chelsea defender, Richard Osei Agyemang is on the verge of securing a three-year move to the Kumasi Asante Kotoko after talks between the two clubs have gone far, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

Sources close to both clubs have disclosed to GHANAsoccernet.com that the two sides have reached an agreement over the transfer of the defender and the former Wa All Stars player is expected in Kumasi next week.

Following their disappointing run in the league last season, the dethroned league champions are seriously putting their house together for the 2015/16 league season.

Osei Agyemang who joined the Berekum-based side from Wa All Stars last season has been in devastating form scooping four Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards from 17 appearances in the league.

Osei Agyemang was part of the Black Meteors side that represented Ghana at the All African Games in Congo Brazzaville.

Osei’s arrival will mean Kumasi Asante Kotoko have so far signed seven players including Theophilus Nyame, Ernest Sowah, Evans Quao, and Bennet Ofori.
