Berekum Chelsea have dissolved their entire technical team with the exception of coach Tony Lokko just a day after their dramatic survival from Premier League relegation.

The news was broken to the technical staff at a meeting on Thursday by the club’s Chief Executive Officer Nana Kwame Nketia.

The dismissed personnel were told they will be given a call once their services are required by the club.

All but head coach Tony Lokko was retained despite reports of his imminent departure to Hearts of Oak.

“We were told at a meeting that the entire technical team have been dissolved except me,” Lokko confirmed to Metro941.fm.

“They were told they will be called once everything is sorted out.

“I have an existing two-year contract with the club of which I have just served one so I am still on.”

The club is expected to constitute a new technical team following their epic escape from Premier League relegation.

Chelsea secured a vita draw against King Faisal on the final day of the season to guarantee their safety in the Ghanaian top flight.
