Berekum Chelsea duo Richard Kissi Boateng and Solomon Asante will fly out to Congo next week to join TP Mazembe for a combined fee of $1 millon, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.
The two players will undergo medicals pending the completion of negotiations by the close of the week.
The four-time African Champions paid $400,000 to secure the services of midfielder Gladson Awako and are expected to fork out $500,000 each for the two players.
“I am taken Kissi and Solomon Asante to Congo next week. We’re demanding $500,000 each for the services of the two players,†Chelsea Accra representative Nana Oduro Sarfo told Kumasi-based Fox FM
“We are just waiting for the offer letter. Because if you don’t get the offer letter before you leave, you will be in trouble."
Boateng and Asante impressed heavily for the 2010 Ghanaian League Champions which earned them call-ups to the Black Stars.
