Following his move to Turkey where he is undergoing trials with Eskisehirspor, head coach of Berekum Chelsea Solomon Odwo claims Sadicks Adams’ absence will not affect the team.

Berekum Chelsea are now 12th on the league table with 30 points, two points above the relegation drop.

And Sadick Adams has been the most influential player with eight goals as well as offering leadership in the team.

But the gaffer insists the absence of the former AshGold forward will not sway the team’s chances of escaping the drop.

“Sadick is a good player and a leader as well. But we don’t depend on individual players. We always concentrate on the team,” Odwo told Ultimate FM in Kumasi.

“Football is all about team play, not individuals. It can go well today, and the next day, it will go bad. So sometimes you have to take it match after match.”

Adams was on the list of a host of local clubs including giants Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko when the second round transfer window opened.

However the bumper $100,000 demand from Berekum Chelsea forced him to reject the move to the Phobians and Kotoko.
