Berekum Chelsea are pressing ahead with their bid to sign Hearts midfielder Moro Abubakar.

The dethroned Ghanaian champions are keen to take the free agent from the capital-based side by tabling a mouth-watering for his services.

The ex-Mighty Jets enforcer could pocket 70,000 Ghana Cedis if he agrees a deal with the Blues.

Chelsea’s rivals Medeama have also reportedly tabled US$ 21,000 offer for the player.

But the non-stop engine could be tempted to join Chelsea due to their involvement in the Caf Champions League.

Hearts are keen to win the FA Cup to placate their suffering fans after missing out on the Premier League crown and the midfielder says he will decide his future at the end of the campaign.

“We are involved in the FA Cup and so any talk of my future will have to be kept on hold,” Abubakar said

“We want to win the cup so we can represent the club in the Confederation Cup next season,"
