Berekum Chelsea owner wants more silverware

Berekum Chelsea owner and president Emmanuel Kyeremeh expects his club to win more trophies in the upcoming season following a fine off-season campaign.

The league champions added another piece of silverware in their trophy cabinet by clinching the novelty GHALCA G8 tournament last Sunday.

The Blues can win another trophy when they face FA winners Nania FC in the revived Super Cup.

The media-shy business mogul, who has brought in big names to the club this season, expects his new-looking blues to flourish under Brit Steve Pollack.

"We're happy with what we have been able to achieve and we have shown that even without some of our key strikers like Emmanuel Clottey and few others, we can still win," Kyeremeh said.

"We hope to build on our success in the GHALCA G8 tournament and take the positives and work on the negatives so we can chalk more laurels this season.

"We're capable of winning few more trophies in the next few years and hard work and determination can help us achieve that feat."
