Berekum Chelsea coach Steve Pollack has bemoaned the poor playing surfaces in Ghana.

The Brit is unhappy with the terrible playing pitches which appears to have stifled the attractiveness of the local league.

The Golden City FC Utrecht pitches have under sharp focus with several teams complaining about the 'unplayable' nature of the facility.

“I am very happy with the standard of football in Ghana but my problem is the poor nature of the various pitches which negatively affects the players as well as coaches’ game plan," he told Cape Coast-based ATL FM

“I therefore call on the football federation to find solutions to this menace as early as possible."
