Exciting Berekum Chelsea winger Solomon Asante is counting the contributions of his team-mates to his fine form in the Ghanaian Premier League.

The 22-year-old dribbling magician has claimed four man-of-the-match awards in seven games and scored the opener for the Blues in their 2-1 win over New Edubiase United at the Golden City Park last Saturday.

He is expected to join English Premiership side Stoke City on a two-month trials after Tony Pulis' side monitored his performance in the Caf Champions League.

The pocket-size wing-wizard says he owes much of his success on the pitch to his team-mates.

"Football is a collective game and when I get on the pitch mostly I try to work with my team-mates as much as I can and they also make great contributions to my performance," Asante told Ghanasoccernet.com

He is in the Ghana squad that play Cape Verde in an international friendly in Lisbon on Wednesday.
