Berekum Chelsea Chief Executive Obed Nana Kwame Nketiah has attributed his club's uninspiring start to season to poor officiating.

Nketiah claims the 2011 Ghana Premier League champions have been victims of poor refereeing at home against Medeama and Aduana Stars which ended in 1-1 draws.

The shy-looking football administrator also made reference to last Sunday's 1-0 reverse in Accra against Hearts of Oak.

He has singled out three referees for disallowing three of his club's goals this season and that had cost them at least five points this season.

Berekum Chelsea are currently 13th on the league and reports claim the team's slide was because of the reduction in the players winning bonuses.

But that has been squashed by the club.

"The bonuses have not been reduced; we still pay the same bonuses for home and away matches," Nketia told Graphic Sports.

"The performances of the players are still at a very high level. It’s just that some referees don’t want us to win.

"In Berekum, Referee E. R. Biney and one of his assistants denied us our three points against Medeama by disallowing a clean goal.

"Against Aduana Stars, Referee Patrick Kyeremanteng also denied us a winning goal, and against Heats we got a late equalizer which was disallowed by Referee Cecil Fleischer for no apparent reason."
