Yahaya Mohammed is suspended

Asante Kotoko will be without talisman Yahaya Mohammed for Sunday’s Premier League game at Ashantigold due to suspension.

Mohammed has picked up accumulated yellows cards, which makes him ineligible for this weekend’s crunch tie at the Len Clay stadium in Obuasi.

The absence of the former OGC Nice vestaile player will be a massive blow to the side with striker Seidu Bancey’s involvement uncertain.

His absence however will provide another opportunity for Ransford Osei to be drafted into the startling line up in a game that they must win to keep their title retention on course.

The miners are desperate to return to winning ways after seeing their unbeaten run crashed at New Edubiase last Sunday.
