Birmingham City whizkid Viv Solomon-Otabor has spoken of rejection by Crystal Palace.
The 19 year-old was dumped by Palace three years ago.
“It was coming to scholarship decisions, they didn't give me a scholarship and so I went into an exit trial. I think I was one of the best players there," he told the Birmingham Mail.
“Really and truly I should never have been playing that type of game, it doesn't frustrate me now but I felt like 'How could I get let go?'
“It was a blow, I was surprised and upset but my parents said 'Don't worry about it, you know yourself you're good, everyone knows you're good, you have got nothing to worry about'.
“Thank God everything went well."
