Former Ghana U17 captain Nasiru Mohammed has sent a goodwill message to the Black Stars ahead of their 2017 AFCON qualifier against Rwanda on Saturday.

The BK Hacken striker admits the challenge will be difficult but remains optimistic the Stars surmount the task.

In the message Nasiru said: "I wish the Black Stars all the best in Rwanda tomorrow. I know it will be a very difficult game especially when Rwanda had won their first game away in Mozambique. But I trust the Black Stars to make Ghanaians happy.

"The Rwanda team is currently made up of very young players but I trust in the experience of our Stars to be able to defeat them. Good luck to the coach and good luck to Ghana tomorrow."

The Black Stars will take on the Amavubi at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali in their second Group match.
