Ghana goalkeeper Razak Brimah fears losing his position in the Cordoba first team due to his colour.

The 28-year-old re-joined his former club after leaving Mirandes at the end of the season.

The Ghana international must fend off competition from Antonio Sillero and Juan Carlos Martin to maintain his number one position in the team.

But the Black Star has admitted the huge task confronting him, revealing his colour has made matters worse at the Spanish side.

“It’s not easy being the only black person amongst the whites. If you challenging with another goalkeeper, you have to do thousand times better than him,” he told Accra-based Starr FM

“Or you cannot be outstanding and if you are on the same level, you are not going to play.

It’s a challenge for me so I must work hard.”

The ex-Tenerife shot-stopper is anxious to land a permanent role in the team to help him maintain his place in the Black Stars squad ahead of the remaining matches in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
