Ghana’s Olympic team have arrived in Nigeria ahead of Friday’s international against the home-based Super Eagles.

The Ghanaian contigent touched base at Abuja on Wednesday morning and traveled to the Akwa Ibom State capital.

They have arrived in Uyo moments ago and will have a feel of the Ibom Stadium later in the evening.

The 18 –man playing squad includes Richard Ofori, Eric Ofori Antwi, Emmanuel Nti Mensah, Benjamin Agyari, Lawrence Lartey, Vincent Attinga, Kwasi Quansah, Richard Yamoah, Kojo Poku, Kennedy Ashia, David Osei Opoku, Isaac Oppong Osae, Abedel Latif Amadu, Enoch Kumi Frimpong, Samuel Afful, Noah Martey, Abdul Ganiyu Ismael and Elvis Opoku.

The Ghanaian delegation is led by Kweku Abaka Eyiah, a member of the GFA while Wahab Rahaman and Charles Kojo Ntim, members of the Management team, also in the party to Nigeria.

The physiotherapist is Albert Kwadwo Evedzi, Adjei Adjettey is Masseur and Kwabena Agyemang Agyin is Equipment Manager.

Officials of the opening ceremony on Tuesday suggested Nigeria’s FIFA and CAF Match Commissioner, Paul Bassey as Match Commissioner for Friday’s game.

The Black Meteors are being coached by Alhaji Malik Jabir with Abdul Karim Zito as his assistant.
