Ghana's female Under-20 deputy coach Ben Fokuo is expressing discomfort after being drawn against 'old foes' South Africa in the All Africa Games on Tuesday.

The Black Princesses were handed a tough draw which includes newly crowned Cosafa champions Zimbabwe and Tanzania in Group B.

Fokuo, a former Ghana international told cafonline.com, silver medalists South Africa will be their nemesis at the Games.

"South Africa are amongst the bigwigs of women’s football on the continent and always have a strong team. In 2007, they beat us 2-1 at the semi final and that loss remains fresh on our minds,"  he told Cafonline.com after the draw.

"We don't know much about Zimbabwe and Tanzania, and cannot afford to underrate them either. There are always surprises in such tournaments and we will not make room for any surprises."

He added: "We are ready for all the teams. Every team that has reached this far is eying the ultimate and we have to prepare feverishly to make a point at the tournament."

Ghana qualified by eliminating perennial rivals Nigeria 3-2 on aggregate.
