Ghana Under-20 women's team coach Kuuku Dadzie is upbeat about the chances of his side to qualify to this year's All Africa Games against much-fancied Nigeria's Super Falcons.
The Black Princesses need à a goalless draw against reigning African champions Nigeria to book the sole qualification spot from the zone after drawing 1-1 in the first leg in Abuja.
Ghana lost a similar battle in 2004 during the Athens Olympic Games qualifiers by losing on penalties in front of a packed crowd after holding the Super Falcons in Nigeria.
Dadzie, who took charge of the team at the Fifa Under-20 World Cup last year, says his charges don't want to be second time unlucky.
He told GHANAsoccernet.com: "We're very much of what happened to us in 2004 and thatââ¬â¢s what weââ¬â¢re working to guard against."
"We respect the Nigerians as the favourite because weââ¬â¢re playing against their senior side. But the girls have shown they can rise up to the occasion and wonââ¬â¢t be complacent at all."
The Ghana Football Association has confirmed gates will be open free to soccer fans in a move to attract thousands to the El-Wak stadium to support the team massively.
