Ghana Under-20 women's team coach Kuuku Dadzie is upbeat about the chances of his side to qualify to this year's All Africa Games against much-fancied Nigeria's Super Falcons.

The Black Princesses need  a goalless draw against reigning African champions Nigeria to book the sole qualification spot from the zone after drawing 1-1 in the first leg in Abuja.

Ghana lost a similar battle in 2004 during the Athens Olympic Games qualifiers by losing on penalties in front of a packed crowd after holding the Super Falcons in Nigeria.

Dadzie, who took charge of the team at the Fifa Under-20 World Cup last year, says his charges don't want to be second time unlucky.

He told GHANAsoccernet.com: "We're very much of what happened to us in 2004 and that’s what we’re working to guard against."

"We respect the Nigerians as the favourite because we’re playing against their senior side. But the girls have shown they can rise up to the occasion and won’t be complacent at all."

The Ghana Football Association has confirmed gates will be open free to soccer fans in a move to attract thousands to the El-Wak stadium to support the team massively.
