AshantiGold coach Bashiru Hayford has urged Mas-Ud Didi Dramani to encourage his players as they prepare to face USA in the final group stage round in the FIFA Women's U20 World Cup.

The Black Princesses' campaign hangs by a thread after Thursday's 2-2 draw with France which has left them at the foot of the table in Group C.

They lost narrowly to New Zealand in their opener and wil need a win against the Americans and pray the other Group match go their way to advance.

"He should talk to the girls to encourage them, all is not lost. Unfortunately, last two years at the same stage we got six points but couldn't advance to the next round," Hayford said on Angel FM.

"I can only urge him to talk to the girls because sometimes they are very jittery."
