Ghanaâ€™s U20 female team will finalize their preparations for the 2014 FIFA U20 Womenâ€™s World Cup in the Canadian City of Calgary, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The Black Princesses have been invited by the Calgary West Soccer Club to partake in a summer camp.
Bashir Hayford and her girls will play a number of friendlies against local clubs including a meeting with the Callies Major womenâ€™s team on 1 July.
â€œThereâ€™s no secret about soccer development in the world,â€ Henry Haeusler, Technical Director of the Calgary West Soccer Club said.
â€œThere is a message the girls from Ghana can send to our players, who have the desire to one day become national players.
â€œWe have people from all over the world living in Canada, who are from countries that are soccer-rich. We have so many influences and players from different soccer cultures.â€
The Black Princesses open their World Cup campaign against hosts Canada before meeting Korea Republic and Finland.
The 2014 FIFA U20 Womenâ€™s World Cup finals will be played from 5-24 August.
