Black Queens captain Elizabeth Addo rubbishes claims of lesbianism

Published on: 13 December 2016

Black Queens captain Elizabeth Addo has moved to water down on widespread suspicion of the practice of lesbianism in the team.

The team's coach Yusif Basigi open the lid on the perceived practice of the act, warning the act is ruing the women's game.

But Addo, who has been nominated for the CAF African Women's Player of the Year, has denied the claims.

“We don’t engage in lesbianism acts, it has never happened in our camp," she said.

"This perception is borne out of how female footballers dress and walk but trust me, I have not seen any Ghanaian footballer who is a lesbian."
