Black Queens defender Rosemary Ampem has insisted that their gold medal winning feet at the All Africa Games (AAG) must be a source of inspiration for all other national teams including the Black Stars.

Rosemary, 23, believes that the various national teams have been chasing gold at various tournaments and that their feet at the AAG should unlock all doors for the other teams to also win gold.

In an interview with GHANAsoccernet.com Rosemary said "Our achievement at the All Africa Games must inspire all the national teams. We have unlocked the doors for other teams to also win gold medals."

"The Black Stars and all the other national teams must always be inspired by our performance that."

"They must know that even if females have been able to bring gold medals to Ghana, then they being males should challenge themselves to also win gold anytime they go into any tournament," she added.

"It has never happened in the history of the Black Queens for winning gold at any even but we have done it. That is not to say our previous performances have been bad. We were not lucky on various occasions."

The Black Queens is one of only two teams that were able to bring gold medals out of the nineteen medals picked by team Ghana at the event.
