Head Coach of Ghana’s Black Queens Yusif Basigi says his side played above themselves in their 2-1victory over their Tunisian counterparts yesterday.
Ghana beat Tunisia 2-1 in the African Women’s Championship final qualifying round first leg tie on Wednesday.
The Black Queens hold the advantage to qualifying for this year’s tournament in Cameroon.
And Queens head Coach Yusif Basigi says his team deserves credit.
“It was a very difficult game but the players did really well and that deserves credit,” Basigi told Accra based Happy FM
“The Tunisian were very physical on the day but the girls rose to the occasions and that was really impressive.”
