Ghana’s women national team have moved two places on the latest FIFA ranking released on Friday.
The Black Queens are now ranked 48th in the world in the first ranking of 2016.
They are also the third best team in Africa behind Nigeria and Cameroon.
The ranking reveals quite a shake-up, thanks largely to the numerous Women’s Olympic Football Tournament qualifiers that have taken place since the turn of the year.
