The World Cup Commission of Inquiry has paid a glowing tribute to Ghana’s U20 team for their qualification to the 2015 African Youth Championship finals.

The Black Satellites put up a stupendous display to thrash Gabon 4-1 in Libreville after being held to a 0-0 draw at home in the first leg.

Sellas Tetteh and his players had to achieve the feat despite not being paid bonuses from the previous qualifying round.

The Commission acknowledged the effort of the entire team and wished them the best in future assignment.

“We congratulate you for your dedication and triumph upon qualification to the African Youth Championship,” chairman of the Commission Justice Senyo Dzamefe said.

“We wish you the best in your future assignment.”
