Black Satellites beat Novara youth team in pre-CAF U20 friendly

Black Satellites training at the Novarello Training Centre in Novara

Ghana’s U20 beat Novara youth team 3-2 in a friendly on Monday evening as they ended their Italy leg of their European tour.  

Goals from Liberty Professionals striker Ebenezer Assafuah, Emmanuel Gyamfi and an own goal gave the Black Satellites the win.

Ghana have been training at the Novarello Training Centre since last Friday.

The Black Satellites are in Group A alongside hosts Algeria, Egypt and Benin at the tournament.

The 2013 African Youth Championship will be played from 16 March to 30 at two cities-Ain Temouchent and Oran.
