Black Satellites to face China on May 3rd in Cape Coast

The male Under-20 team of Ghana, the Black Satellites would on Tuesday May 3rd 2016 host the Young Dragons of China in a friendly encounter to inaugurate the newly built multi-purpose stadium in the Central Regional capital Cape Coast.

The Chinese U-19 who had confirmed the international friendly with the Satellites will arrive in Ghana on Sunday 1st May with the Football Association President of China Cai Zhenhua and 35-man contingents including players and officials.

The 15,000 capacity edifice which was built by the Chinese government for Ghana cost $35 million and has modern sports facilities and equipment’s like natural grass football pitch, boxing gym, basketball court, tennis court, handball court, tartan tracks, gym and hostel rooms. The stadium has a standby industrial power generator with two electricity transformers.
