Assistant Black Stars coach Maxwell Konadu is among the list of coaches running for the vacant Asante Kotoko coaching job following the sacking of Zdravko Logarusic.

Konadu is still the assistant coach of the Black Stars but has been linked with a return to club football after playing assistant to both Kwesi Appiah and Avram Grant.

Kumasi Asante have terminated the contract of the Croat following four games without a win which included a 1-0 defeat at the hands of bitter rivals Hearts of Oak.

There is a change of win at the helms of Black Stars and there are genuine concerns that Maxwell Konadu might not be the one who will be assisting incoming coach Kwesi Appiah.

Former AshGold coach Bashiru Hayford has also been linked with the job.
