The Black Stars B will lock horns with Ghana Premier League side, Elmina Sharks in a preparatory game at the Papa Kwesi Ndoum Stadium on Thursday.

This match forms part of the Black Stars B preparations for their upcoming 2018 CHAN qualifier away to Burkina Faso on August 12.

In an interview with Happy FM's Wamputu Sports, coach of Elmina Shark, Yaw Frimpong, said it will be a fine training exercise both sides to test themselves.

"It'll be a very good preparatory match for us both. We will would want to show that we're equally good like the players in the national team by giving them a tough match."

"It will be a good exercise for us especially considering that the league has proceeded on a long break. I'm hoping that we can play an hour each."

Dr Paa Kwesi Ndoum, the bank roller of Sharks, is expected to join the team to host the Stars and their coach, Kwesi Appiah who will be joining them after almost three weeks in the USA scouting for players for the main Black Stars.

The team defeated Great Olympics 2-0 in a friendly encounter last Thursday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
