Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah has rewarded regular club first team players with call-ups in his latest Black Stars squad.

Notable names in his 21-man squad to face Malawi this month in the second leg final 2013 Nations Cup qualifier includes Espanyol's Mubarak Wakaso and Vitoria Guimaraes' David Addy.

Also, John Paintsil and Evian TG duo Jonathan Mensah and Rabiu Mohammed have been recalled after recent impressive displays in the Israeli and French top-flight.

2011/2012 Ghana Premier League Most Valuable Player Daniel Nii Adjei has earned his first senior national team call-up.

The TP Mazembe-bound midfielder helped Premier League champions Kotoko to defeat FA Cup holders New Edubiase to clinch the 2012 Super Cup last Sunday.

As a result Black Stars regulars like Derek Boateng, Samuel Inkoom and Daniel Opare have been dropped for their recent club inactivity.

Olympique Marseille striker Jordan Ayew, who scored in last Sunday's 4-1 defeat at Valenciennes, has been dropped.

The quartet were members of the squad which beat the Flames 2-0 in Accra last month.
