Black Stars to open 2015 AFCON qualifiers at home, punishing campaign awaits
The Black Stars will play six matches in three months to qualify for the 2015 AFCON

A hectic three-month period is awaiting the Black Stars in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers as they will play six matches within that short time, with the first game at home.

The Black Stars will start their qualifying campaign in September - not long after their participation in the World Cup - with all the matches in a short of space of time to qualify for the tournament in Morocco.

Some of their matches will be played on Wednesdays which means they will have just about two days to prepare for after playing in the weekend before.

Ghana’s journey to Morocco Afcon 2015 begins on the weekend of September 5-6 away to a yet-to-be-determined before travelling to Togo four days later on Wednesday, September 10.

After a short break the Black Stars will be back on the road to take on Guinea the weekend of October 10-11, before returning home to face the same side on Wednesday, October 15.

The following month will travel to the face the yet-to-be-determined opponent on the weekend of November 14-15 before ending their campaign with a clash against Togo on Wednesday, November 19.

The 30th edition of Afcon will be played from January 17 to February 8, 2015.
