Ghana national team goalkeepers' trainer Edward Ansah will leave for South Africa later this month to attend the Fifa Goalkeepers Instructors course.
The ex-international will learn the modern trends of goalkeeping and their safety between the sticks.
He joined the Black Stars in 2005 and has been credited for conditioning the gloves men but has failed to find a successor to the ageing Richard Kinsgon.
Ansah became a household name after his heroics sent Ghana to the 1992 Africa Cup of Nations final in Senegal which the Black Stars lost 10-11 on penalties to Ivory Coast.
