Black Stars goalkeepers’ coach Nassam Yakubu says there are a lot of quality goalkeepers in the Ghana Premier League.

“We have good goalkeepers in the league. Wa All Stars have two very good goalkeepers namely Richard Ofori and Baba Musah while Kotoko have Eric Ofori Antwi and Ashgold have Robert Dabuo,” the Medeama SC goalkeepers coach told Starr FM.

“I think we have a couple of quality goalkeepers around but the problem is that they are yet to be given the opportunity to join the national team.”

But the irony is that,  AshantiGold goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has been the only gloves man to have earned a call-up from new coach Avram Grant since the Israeli took charge of the Black Stars late last year.
