Black Stars leave for training camp in South Africa

The Black Stars have left Ghana for their training camp in South Africa ahead of their second 2014 World Cup qualifier against Zambia.

The 23-man team (excluding the technical team) which is led by Ghana FA boss Kwasi Nyantakyi alongside Executive Committee Member Felix Ansong and Communications Director Ibrahim Sannie-Daara left Accra at about 11pm local time aboard South African Airways.

The team is expected to touch down in Johannesburg on Sunday morning after which preparations towards the Zambia game will begin in earnest.

The team will leave on Thursday for Ndola where the match against the Chipolopolo will be played.

Ghana goes into next weekend's tie against the African champions on top of Group D haven annihilated Lesotho 7-0 in the opening group fixture in Kumasi last Friday.
