Black Stars' local contingent to leave Accra for Canada tonight

The local contingent of the Black Stars will fly out tonight to the US for next week’s friendly international against Canada.

Assistant coach Maxwell Konadu and the backroom staff will be on board.

Already, head coach Avram Grant has arrived in the US to start preparations for the exhibition match.

AshantiGold goalkeeper Fatau Dauda who is said to be the only home-based player in the yet-to-be released squad will also make the trip.

They will be joined by the foreign-based component at their base in Washington.

Ghana will play Canada in at the RFK Stadium, home of MLS side DC United.
