Barnsley defender Andy Yiadom hopes to get regular call-ups into the Black Stars in future.
The right-back was a surprised inclusion in Avram Grant's squad in the country's 2-0 defeat to Egypt in a 2018 World Cup qualifier last Sunday.
The defender failed to break into the team but remains hopeful he will get another chance in future.
“Yea was very delighted when I earned the call-up. It is a big honour to be in the National team,” he told Joy FM
“I have learnt a lot from the other guys. I hope to stay in the team, I hope to earn regular call-ups.
“I have learnt a lot from Schlupp, we talk a lot and just as he came to stay I also want to stay in the team as well.”
