The Black Stars players have left Washington for their respective clubs after fighting from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Canada in an international friendly on Tuesday.

The players took a group picture at the Washington Dulles International Airport on Wednesday evening where they are to catch their flights to their respective bases.

Most of the players invited by coach Avram Grant are based in Europe with a few like Harrison Afful, Lloyd Sam and Kwadwo Poku based in the USA.

The remaining backroom staff, management committee members and goalkeeper Fatau Dauda will be returning to Ghana by Thursday.

It is unclear if Avram Grant joined his technical team for the trip to Accra.

He is suspected to have headed back to the UK.

The friendly match against Canada was to prepare the Black Stars for ahead of its opening game in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers next month against the Comoros Island.
