Black Stars players flood in messages of condolence for bereaved teammate Mubarak Wakaso
Mubarak Wakaso has lost his four-month old baby boy.

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan and several other Black Stars players have sent in messages of support for teammate Mubarak Wakaso who is grieving over the death of his four-month baby boy.

The Rubin Kazan midfielder was struck by tragedy with the death of his four-month baby in his hometown in Tamale on Thursday.

The cause of death of the baby boy who was buried later that evening according to Islamic custom and practices remains undisclosed.

Several world football stars have been sending in messages to commensurate with the 23-year-old and his family.

Wakso is currently in Ghana with his family due to the long winter break in Russia.

Black Stars teammates have since shown tremendous support for their international teammate with messages flooding in from all angles led by captain Asamoah Gyan.

“Wakaso my thoughts & prayers are with U and ur family may your baby boy #RestInPrefectPeace stay strong bro.???????? we are all praying for you,” the Black Stars captain Tweeted.

Chelsea star Michael Essien also Tweeted: “Sad to hear about the loss of Wakaso's child.My condolences to you and your family bro and stay strong.”

Kevin-Prince Boateng also followed up by Tweeting: “My thoughts & prayers are with Mubarak Wakaso & his family may the soul of your baby #RIP stay strong bro.”

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and Samuel Inkoom also posted on Twitter and Instagram respectively: “My condolence to wakaso mubarak as he lost his baby boy. Get heart Bro. Allah be with u in this difficult situation.”

“Stay strong my brother & prayer are with Mubarak Wakaso & his family. May the soul of your baby RIP.”
