Ghana have lined up a friendly with 2013 Africa Cup of Nations debutants Cape Verde later this month.

The Ghana Football Association is expected to finalize the contract on Monday for the November 15 date.

MTNFootball.com understands the match which will serve as a pre-AFCON warm-up will be played in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon.

Cape Verde will hand the Black Stars the needed test after the shock elimination of four-time African champions Cameroon.

The Blue Sharks were forced to cancel their planned friendly against Angola after both sides were drawn in Group A for the Nations Cup finals.

Ghana will play DR Congo, Niger and Mali in Group B at the tournament which will run from 19 January to 10 February.
