Head coach of the Black Stars Kwesi Appiah and his technical team will finally receive their salaries after the board of GNPC held meetings to address the situation.
Appiah and his backroom staff made up of Ibrahim Tanko, Richard Kingson, and Stephen Appiah among a host of others have already worked two months without remuneration and have taken charge of three matches already.
The responsibility of paying salaries of the head coach in the past has fallen on GNPC, who in more recent times have indicated that they are uncomfortable with their monetary obligations to the Black Stars.
After liaising with the Sports Ministry and the various stakeholders involved it has emerged that funds will be released to settle all debts owed the Black Stars technical team by the end of the week.
