Ghana's senior national team will play a friendly against Peru next month as the Black Stars prepare for November's 2018 World Cup qualifiers, insiders claim.

According insiders close to goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey who has confirmed receiving an invitation for next month's friendly against Canada that two matches will be played.

The invitation indicated that the Black Stars will play a friendly against Peru on 9 October before they take on Canada.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that they are playing a friendly against Canada on 13 October but have not revealed a friendly with Peru.

However, the Black Stars are permitted to play two matches under the FIFA international break for next month.

The GFA is yet to confirm that there is a second friendly in the offing.
