Boakye-Yiadom: Ghana forward sees red in Atalanta defeat against AS Roma

Ghana international forward Richmond Boakye-Yiadom was sent off while in action for Atalanta in their Serie A defeat against AS Roma on Saturday evening. 

The 21-year-old had come off the bench to replace Argentine international Germán Gustavo Denis in the 75th minute but was sent off in stoppage-time after picking a double booking.

Boakye had been booked for an unsporting behaviour in the 95th minute and a minute later, he picked another booking and was marched off.

Atalanta took an early lead but Roma fought from behind to win the tie 2-1.
