Published on: 08 December 2012

Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom scored the opener for Sassuolo Calcio who posted a 2-0 win over Modena in the Italian Serie B on Friday.

The 21-year-old was denied twice from opening the scoring for the Green and Blacks before he finally broke the deadlock on the 32nd minute mark.

Boakye played a quick one-two with Andrea Catellani inside the box who returned a pass to the Juventus loanee who angled a low drive to the near post.

He has now taken his season tally to seven goals.

Compatriot Yussif Raman Chibsah was an unused substitute.

I watched the match and i can tell you,it was a real taken goal. The serie B is shaping his goal scoring skils. He can only get better. He together with Jordan Ayew,Warris and now Said Ahmed are the future of Ghan as far as striking is concerned. In 2/3 yrs 4rm now, Ghana will not be crying for strikers. Carry on "SOLDIER"
