Veteran football administrator Yaw Boateng-Gyan claims there is massive corruption in Ghana football with respect to officiating.

The Bofoakwa Tano board chairman alleges that club administrators have infiltrated the Referees Association to appoint match officials of their choice.

''Some of the club officials go to the head of the Referee Appointment Committee and tell them that they have already spoken to some referees and that they want them to handle their games,'' the former Black Stars management committee member is quoted by footballmadeinghana.com

''My experience in football as an administrator for 38 years  and I have never seen such corrupt era in Ghana football like this.

''This corrupt act just started some few years ago. I know what I am saying and I have lots of instances to back it.''
