Bolga All Stars owner-player Abdulai Alhassan says he can do more after playing his first Ghana Premier League match for the club on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old was introduced after 65 minutes and helped his side draw 3-3 with Hearts of Oak at home.

Alhassan has decided to lace his boots and help the newly-promoted side beat the drop.

"I thought it wise to do this-something that has never happened before and wanted to motivate my boys by playing with them," he told Joy FM

"I think you can see what happened, we actually won the game but a silly mistake by our goalkeeper gave Hearts the chance to equalise.

"The coach knows me very well and I think I didn't give my best today but the third goal came when I was brought on."
